NEUP CINR-17-12609: Development of Advanced High-Cr Ferritic/Martensitic Steels
Utilize steel microalloying technologies to remove free interstitial atoms from High-Cr Ferritic/Martensitic steels such as HT-9 that result in moderate temperature (300-400°C) embrittlement during reactor service and thereby also create a fine precipitate dispersion that refines the microstructure and increases microstructural stability with temperature and irradation exposure.
