NEUP CINR-17-12710: Mechanisms of Retention and Transport of Fission Products in Virgin and Irradiated Nuclear Graphite

The main objective of the proposed work is to measure the diffusivities of non- radioactive isotopes of Kr, I, Cs, Sr, Ru and Ag in graphite and uncover the mechanisms of transport at temperatures between 600 – 1800 C using microstructural examinations and large scale computer simulations.
