NEUP CINR-18-15276: Coping Time and Cost Analysis of Accident Tolerant Plant Design based on Dynamic PRA Methodology

ATF and FLEX are expected to extend the existing LWRs' coping time and mitigation capability. Capitalizing on Co-PIs' on-going experiment and researches, the response surface of coping time under the uncertainties in FLEX mitigation strategy, ATF failures, human performance, and component aging will be developed in an integrated manner within dynamic PRA (LOTUS) framework. Economic savings will be calculated from SSC re-classification and fuel cycle cost reduction.
