NEUP CINR-19-17087: Economic Risk-Informed Maintenance Planning and Asset Management

The proposed work will provide a holistic framework for cost-minimizing risk-informed maintenance planning, including inspection. We develop a two-tier framework that i) coarsely minimizes the total maintenance cost during the remaining normal operating cycle and ii) use the outputs of the first model to maximize the financial impact of these activities in the next week (short-term).
