NEUP CINR-19-17168: Fuel Salt Sampling and Enriching System Technology Development

The proposed work combines insights from the Molten Salt Reactor Experiment with decades of advancements in applicable technologies into an enhanced Sampler Enricher (SE) concept and develops/tests a flexible, reliable, and workable design. Vanderbilt leads the project through the design, prototype, and hot salt testing phases. Michigan will help integrate and test the prototype in an existing salt loop. Peer review from Idaho National Laboratory and Southern Company will be integrated.
