NEUP CINR-20-19491: Identifying and prioritizing sources of uncertainty in external hazard probabilistic risk assessments

This project will develop a method for identifying and prioritizing sources of uncertainty in external hazard probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) for nuclear power plants, with particular emphasis on uncertainties associated with hazard characterization. While the proposed method is intended for application across external hazards, the research team will utilize external flooding (XF) as the demonstration hazard.
