NEUP CINR-20-19936: Multiscale and Multiphysical Testing-Modeling of Inorganic Microfiber-Reinforced Engineered Barrier Materials (IMEBM) for Enhancing Repository Performance

This project develops inorganic microfiber-reinforced engineered barrier materials (IMEBM) that are less permeable and more resistant to the desiccation cracking and chemical degradation for a long term in the challenging geological environment of the repository toward the enhanced performance of traditional engineered barrier materials.
