NEUP CINR-21-24188: Uranium recovery from used nuclear fuel using metal sulfides

We propose an alternative and original method to recover uranium from spent fuel using a new type of regenerable sorbent materials with high selectivity in capturing uranium from complex mixtures in acidic solutions such as those found in used nuclear fuel of high-assay low-enriched uranium.
