NEUP CINR-21-24195: Enhancing Yellowjacket for Modeling the Impact of Radiation and Stress on the Corrosion of Molten-Salt-Facing Structural Components

The objective of this project is to add the capability to model the impact of radiation and stress on corrosion to the Yellowjacket code, as well as to use Yellowjacket to create surrogate models that will be added to engineering-scale codes like Grizzly. We will also collect new experimental data for validation that quantifies the impact of stress and radiation on corrosion of 316 stainless steel (316SS) in molten fluoride salts.
