NEUP CINR-21-24374: Effects of Radiolysis on Pertechnetate under Solvent Extraction Conditions, including Tri-Butyl Phosphate

The overarching objective of the proposed work is to assess the impact of radiolysis on pertechnetate speciation during tri-butylphosphate (TBP) solvent extractions from the molecular level to macroscale. The research in this project is designed to understand the interplay of radiolysis, degradation product formation, other important redox active metals, and oxidation states of technetium on the speciation of Tc and distribution coefficients in solvent extraction processes.
