NEUP CINR-24-31909: Multiscale high-throughput experiment/modeling approach to understanding creep behavior in Additively Manufactured reactor steels
We propose to develop a predictive capability for processing-microstructure-property correlations in AM microstructures utilizing a multiscale approach encompassing bulk creep tests, miniaturized tensile testing, and a high-throughput, indentation based, cost-effective method for elevated temperature mechanical mapping of additively manufactured 316H Stainless Steel, Grade 91, and Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum (TZM) alloys.
