NEUP IRP-25-35167: Development of Waste Processing Methods for MCFR Fuel Salt

This proposed project will develop U/TRU and Cl recovery methods for SNF from a molten chloride fast reactor. It will also develop waste form options for the residual waste material. Waste acceptance, transportation, and storage requirements will be analyzed with respect to salt processing and waste form options.
