NEUP IRP-25-36432: Derisking Advanced Reactor Investment with Sensor Digital Twins for Enhanced Operations

This work will establish a rapid innovation framework for sensing applications, with combined theoretical and experimental elements, to allow the nascent advanced reactor (AR) industry to quickly respond to operational challenges as they emerge. This project will also produce standardized methodologies and metrics for sensor array performance that will provide value without relying on the specific sensor physics selected in this proposal.
