NSUF 24-4971: In situ dual beam radiation on additively manufactured oxide dispersion strengthened alloy 718
The main objective of this proposal is to use in situ dual beam radiation technique (at IVEM) to investigate irradiation induced microstructure evolution in additively manufactured (AM) oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) Ni alloy 718. The ultimate goal is to demonstrate enhanced resistance to Helium (He) bubble induced swelling of the ODS Ni alloys under high temperature radiation.
